How to Request Laundry Help
- Contact or speak with HTHS staff during open hours.
- Explain the amount and type of laundry you need to wash.
- Ask about the current schedule, load limits, supplies, and waiting process.
- Follow staff instructions for using the equipment and shared space.
What to Bring
- Clothing or washable personal items in a bag or container.
- Any fragrance-free or special detergent you need, if you have it.
- Clean clothing to wear while laundry is being washed, when possible.
- Patience for shared equipment and limited appointment time.
Safety and Shared-Space Expectations
- Staff may limit the number or size of loads so more people can be served.
- Items that could damage equipment or create a health or safety risk may not be accepted.
- Do not place chemicals, sharp objects, electronics, or non-washable items in the machines.
- Stay available to move and collect your belongings as directed.
- Laundry equipment can cause ordinary wear, color transfer, or shrinkage. Check pockets and care labels, and collect your belongings promptly.
If laundry service is unavailable, staff may help search for another community option. A referral does not guarantee free service, transportation, or immediate availability.
