Start here when you need transportation but are not sure whether HTHS, a shelter shuttle, a volunteer driver, public transportation, or another community service is the right option.
Transportation HTHS May Explore
- An approved ride for an essential appointment or service.
- Transportation connected with a shelter referral.
- A community, medical, human-service, or public transportation provider.
- Help planning a route, pickup point, telephone call, or appointment.
Information to Provide
- Where you need to go and why.
- The required arrival date and time.
- Your safe pickup location.
- The number of riders, including children.
- Mobility devices, service animals, car-seat needs, or accessibility concerns.
- A reliable way to reach you before the trip.
Request as Early as Possible
Transportation depends on the purpose of the trip, distance, timing, safety, vehicle condition, and staff or volunteer availability. A request does not become a confirmed ride until HTHS clearly tells you that transportation has been arranged.
